Valley of the Sun Early Childhood Association is committed to changing the story for teachers, children and their families. By collaborating and engaging within the early education community and beyond, we not only raise the awareness of the importance of quality programs, but lead the way in putting research into practice. We are committed to ending the cycle of poverty by laying the foundations for early literacy.

Valley of the Sun was incorporated as an Arizona 501(c)(3) non-profit in 1974. We hold the Platinum Standard at Candid-Guidestar. All gifts are tax deductible and you can donate through PAYPAL or GO FUND ME without being charged fees.
Our 2023-2024 fundraiser is for Isaac Elementary School district in Phoenix Arizona, creating our Mariposa Library Garden at Udall Middle School and Head Start.
This installation will include multiple library houses with developmentally appropriate books, bi-lingual English-Spanish; 10 raised vegetable garden beds and a lime tree.
