Valley of the Sun Chapter AzAEYC and Lattie Coor Elementary receive Edible Education Garden grant from Whole Kids Foundation.

Whole Kids Foundation is celebrating the 10^th anniversary by providing a record-breaking 1,000 garden grants, a $3 million investment, to help schools and nonprofit organizations start or expand edible learning spaces!

This grant will be used to expand the vegetable gardens at Lattie Coor Elementary in Avondale, Arizona. We know that the more kids know and feel connected to their food, the more curious they become about how things grow or taste, and the more willing they are to try new foods. This is why we believe in edible garden learning spaces!
