Valley of the Sun Early Childhood Association is pleased to announce the Arizona Farm Bureau grant award for Lattie Coor Elementary in Avondale Arizona. This grant will be used to develop vegetable gardens at the school – a living laboratory for students to learn about the life cycle from seed to harvest.

The Arizona Farm Bureau Agriculture in the Classroom Program develops and implements curriculum and programs, aligned to the state learning standards, to help students and teachers be successful, while increasing agricultural awareness in K-12 classrooms and beyond.
