VSECA – FLIP THIS PLAYGROUND installs new gardens, shrubs and tree at Sunrise Elementary

An old sandbox is converted into a new garden bed. An arbor is installed with Jasmine vines. Butterfly loving plants such as Hibiscus and Yellow Bells are just the beginning of the Mariposa Garden.
Sissoo Tree is installed and will provide ample shade in the years ahead.

Within the classroom Monarch cocoons are hatching thanks to Milkweed plants provided by the Arizona Desert Botanical Gardens.
